This interior project was conceived for OISHI, a high-end Japanese restaurant located in the heart of Bamako, Mali, designed to complement the city’s vibrant nightlife with a refined and contemporary atmosphere. The architectural approach embraces minimalism, relying on a restrained palette, precise lines, and a carefully controlled play of light and shadow to create an immersive dining experience. Graphic elements and subtle references to Japanese culture are seamlessly integrated into the space, reinforcing identity without resorting to literal symbolism. The layout balances intimacy and openness, allowing diners to enjoy both privacy and a shared sense of place. Through its sober elegance and attention to detail, Moisei positions architecture as an extension of gastronomy, delivering a sophisticated environment where high-end design enhances the experience of high-end cuisine.
