Marina Towers is a mixed-use architectural project designed for Lusail City, Doha, Qatar, conceived as one of the early landmark proposals shaping the identity of this emerging urban district. The project is composed of two slender towers rising from an activated urban podium, creating a strong vertical presence within the city skyline. The architectural concept is based on a layered composition of horizontal bands that articulate the towers and introduce visual rhythm, softened by the integration of greenery at selected levels. This stratification reduces the perceived scale of the buildings while responding to the climatic conditions of the region. The podium establishes a dynamic interface with the public realm, accommodating shared programs and enhancing pedestrian engagement, while the towers accommodate flexible mixed-use functions above. Through its expressive form, sustainable strategies, and urban integration, Marina Towers proposes a contemporary vision for high-density living and working in Lusail, balancing iconic architecture with contextual responsiveness.
